These fern patterns are designed from photos I've taken on daily walks in my neighborhood. It's amazing to me that I've taken hundreds of photos of the same plants but they always look new, beautiful and interesting. I've also translated fern paintings I've done into patterns. It's always a challenge to capture the essence of the art into a repeating pattern, but when it works it's very satisfying. See some examples below.
